UPDATE: Further investigation confirms that the free version of this game is more like a “trial” than a free game with ads. You get to play a small portion of the game for free, and if you want to continue you do have to spend money. This may be fine for some, but others find this to be an unacceptable bait-and-switch. What we recommend is that you play the free part of the game and then decide after experiencing the gameplay whether you want to invest in the rest of it.

If you have decided to invest in Oceanhorn and play it all the way to the end, it makes sense to get it set up on your desktop computer. The primary way you can do this until the games is officially released for Windows or Mac is through the use of an android emulator.
The emulator imitates the android system on your desktop computer or laptop. We like them because they are free and easy to use, and don’t require a lot of tech experience.
